This card has a kind of vintage look to it that was achieved by brushing Crumb Cake ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and then sponge daubing additional color around the edges. The script and leaves are from the Very Versailles stamp set which is one of my all-time favorites because it’s so elegant. The card has several layers but is actually pretty easy to put together. You can change up the look by keeping it more monochromatic using just Crumb Cake ink and cardstock or even Soft Suede. Or you can make it more colorful with the Merry Merlot that I used or even Cherry Cobbler which is another one of my favorite colors. Give it a try. I’m betting you will like the results.
