Instructions

  • Use your bone folder to burnish the folded edge of your card to give it a crisp edge
  • Place the white card layer inside the Parisian Flourish embossing folder and run it through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine. The side where the image is raised (rather than indented) is the side that will face up.
  • Using the 2nd largest scalloped circle in the Layering Circle dies, place it on the top part of the white card layer that you just embossed but leave a little space at the top. Run it through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
  • Glue down that layer to the Real Red cardbase.
  • Cut out a smaller plain circle, again using the Layering Circle dies and glue it to the inside of the scalloped circle opening.
  • Stamp the scalloped heart image in the Heartfelt stamp set onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink and punch it out using the coordinating scalloped heart punch.
  • Also stamp the smaller scalloped heart from the same stamp set as well as the arrow using Real Red ink. You will have to fussy cut the small heart and the arrow because there is no coordinating punch or die.
  • Glue the smaller heart to the center of the larger scalloped heart. Pop it up on dimensionals and attach it to the center of the white circle.
  • Apply a little bit of liquid glue all around the heart charm and adhere it to the center of the heart.
  • Also apply a little bit of glue along the shaft of the arrow and place it across the top of the charm at an angle.

Cut a scrap of Basic white cardstock 1 1/2″ x 2″. Lay the long scalloped die from the Stitched Be Mine dies along the bottom of the cardstock and run it through the Cut & Emboss machine. It will scallop cut the bottom and apply “stitch” marks.

  • Stamp the sentiment “Happy Valentine’s Day” from the Meant to Be stamp set onto the 1 1/2″ x 2″ piece of cardstock with Real Red ink.
  • To create little hearts, run the linked hearts die through the Cut & Emboss machine on Real Red cardstock. You can glue one of the little hearts next to the sentiment.
  • Pop it up on dimensionals and adhere it to the bottom right of the card.

You will find this card comes together pretty quickly. Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card. Happy stamping!
