I made the pocket card on the left with the Celebrate the Miracle stamp set which has really nice images and sentiments. And I paired it with the Shining Brightly Specialty Designer Series Paper. The gift card pocket on the front was made using the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies from the Annual Catalog, which also contains dies to make the bow. I don’t know if this standalone die set has gone under the radar, but it’s definitely something worth considering adding to your craft room.
This was such a nice card to make that I decided to also make the one on the right using the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper. I also added a Textural Element that is available only in the Online Exclusives store. Textural Elements are small balsa wood elements that look like sprigs with berries. I explain in the video below how I colored them.
These are beautiful and easy cards to make – even if you’re a beginner. I love adding visual interest to my cards by adding layers, but I like them to be easy layers.
A supply list for both cards is below the video.
