Concertina Tag Card

This is an easel card that’s like a card within a card. Just untie the ribbon and the concertina tag cascades open to reveal the sentiments inside.

The card features the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper which is so beautiful because it contains many shades of blue. It almost has a French countryside feel to it. Which I’m guessing is why Stampin’ Up! named it Countryside Inn!

The sentiments are from the Days to Remember photopolymer stamp set.

And the top and bottom of the tag were punched with the Lasting Label punch. This project showed me I need to order the new Elegant Edge Tag Topper punch because I think the pretty edging on that punch would have looked really nice. You can also use any other tag topper punch you might have – even if it’s retired. But if you don’t have one, I will show you in the video below how you can use a label punch to create a tag topper.

Measurements

• Card base (use Night of Navy or Misty Moonlight): 4 1/4″ x 11″. Score at 5 1/2″
• Basic White: Cut 2 at 5 1/4″ x 4″ (one for the front and one for the inside)
• Designer Series Paper (DSP) layer: 5″ x 3 3/4:
• 3″ x 3″ square piece of Night of Navy or Misty Moonlight
• 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ piece of Basic White
• Tag:
  • 8″ x 2″ piece of Night of Navy or Misty Moonlight
  • Cut 3 pieces of DSP at 1 3/4″ x 1 1/2″
  • Cut 2 pieces of DSP at 1 3/4″ x 3/4″
  • Cut 2 pieces of Basic White at 1 3/4″ by 3/4″
